Hi leaders.
Just wanted to say "well done" to all of you who survived the 2 days without the 19 of us. Heard you guys really gave it all. Goes to show how we can adapt to change and prove that we are a strong force. hahas. Well done indeed. Give yourselves a round of applause.
Anyways, i included a new section on the side because the rules for tagboard seems insufficient for the profile of the blog. Simply added the commitees. But to my dear presidents, feel free to add on the the profile.
And also, spammers please do not tag if you are NOT a student leader. I believe that my leaders will not be as immature to do so.
Well while i am at it, I shall post the 7 habits here so as to remind you to read it, i personally feel its a really great book and it helps a lot.
1. Be proactive
2.Begin with the end in mind
3. put first things first
4.think win-win
5.seek first to understand, then to be understood
6. Synergise
7.Sharpen the Saw.
And, well, just leaving with a quote. thought its a quite common one we see but, do look deeper into it.
be the change you want to see in this world- GandhiBenjamin

Hello leaders..finally got the correct username..hahas..posted twice last time but wrong username..hehe..hey, finally the EXCOs results are out..no matter who are the excos, must remember that don't let power take over you. Like what wen zhen has said, we are servant leaders. We are here not for the rank but to serve.
erm, i would really like to thank you for the great efforts you guys have put during teachers' day.WELL DONE, KEEP IT UP!!! Thanks too for the great attendance for the envisioning course on 040908. Hope you guys have learnt something from there.
WELL, to regain back your memory, we started with a question
" WHAT IS LEADERSHIP?" ( asnwered by our own SLs)
=> Well prepaid, well maintained
=> Lead, learnt, share
=>Voice out own opinion being able to make difference
=> Determination, trust and respect
=> Lead the followers, guide positive way, influence
=> Loud, outspoken, initiative, respecting teammates and looking after them
some Questions for you to reflect:
=> What is the 'brand' image of student council that you want to project?
=> How can you help to project a consistent 'brand' image?
=>What is the niche area of student council that you want to 'advertise' so as to make it unique?
=> How can student leaders be innovative in everything they do, all the time?
=> In serving the needs of other, why is it important to be innovative?
think about it kay???
Conclusion of the envisioning course :
The leader is first a servant leader. Leadership is about serving others and meeting the needs of the community.
heheh...erm..as you guys know, around 25 of us are going to Vietnam tomorrow, 060908..must miss us okay?and...
hope you guys are able to cooperate with each other for the first 3 days of school as some of us wont be here. please take initiatif to help fellow leaders. thankxzzzzz...
